Hi everyone!

Hope you had a great week! It’s Friday! Yes! Now beware of the weekends… they can be dangerous for your fat loss goals! :-)

Indeed, it’s so easy to let go on the week end. The change of schedule, meals are not at the same time as in our working weeks, we are often away from home, etc.

As a motivation for the weekend, I decided to post a great article I’ve found from Craig Ballantyne of Turbulence Training.  Here it is… Let me know what you think:

To lose fat, one must think. One must exercise their brain to change their body and reach their weight loss goals. If you have a plan, you’ll succeed. But if you go in the gym and “wing it” everytime, you’ll make no progress month-in and month-out. If time keeps on passing without any changes in your body, then you have to try something new.

You – “Hey! How are you today?”

Friend – “Not bad…”

Have an impression of déjà-vu when reading this? Maybe you were the one answering “Not bad…”

Why so negative?!

I have a confession to make… I have somehow a tendency to be very negative when it comes to facing challenges and my fat loss journey has been no exception. Hey everybody,
Hope y’all doing great today! Beautiful sunny day and summer is coming fast… that’s awesome!
Having the best nutrition possible for me is and will be the toughest part of my journey to loose weight.
I love to eat and I eating makes me feel “satisfied”… When I’m full, everything seems “all right” if you know what I mean… I guest I could be called an emotional eater but that’s another story for a future post.

This bring the negative side that by doing this, I can easily pack 1000′s of extra calories each day and ruin all efforts to loose fat…As I’ve often heard from Craig Ballantyne from Turbulence Training, “You can’t out train a bad diet!”. So no mater how much you train, if your nutrition is bad… you’re screwing up your efforts to loose fat.
One of my best tricks to avoid overeating is to eat more often than the traditional Three-meals-a-day but in smaller quantities every time I do.
Instead, I’ll go for a Six-Small-Meals-a-day plan

Cardio exercise is such a strange thing. In theory, it should work
so perfectly well for all men and women, but as anyone who has
tried it knows, the practicality of it just doesn’t add up.

After all, some men and women do cardio 6 hours, 9 hours, or more per week, and still have belly fat to burn. On the other hand, it works just fine for others.
